baysan yuksel; a.k.a bayananderson was born in 1984.feeding herself with the so called post modern chaos she started to draw, paint, cut and paste. she is a multi artist,her works vary from paintings to objects,drawings to collages, she also makes movies.
she has difficulties to understand the world spinning around her, so most of her art is about questioning and undermining everyday life, routines, beliefs, traditions and daily consumptions.
other than trying to understand the real world she sometimes escapes from it and lives in an imaginary one where she creates characters and makes up stories. some of her works may come out from these imaginary worlds.
works and lives in Istanbul, as well as 3 different cities but she is also traveling and constantly moving from one place to another.
